Sebastian Pintea, AA, AS

Sebastian Pintea is a clinical research assistant in the Department of Anesthesia, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is an undergraduate student at Stanford University studying Environmental Systems Engineering and Spanish. In the Groenewald and Rabbitts Labs, he assists with research initiatives related to the psychological and physiological impacts of opioid use following pediatric surgeries. Sebastian is currently conducting his own research study exploring the influence of ambient air pollution on pediatric chronic pain outcomes. He aims to pursue an MD-MPH degree where he can continue doing environmental health-related research while serving patients impacted by climate change events.
